“The path was coming to an end as the sun began to set, leaving much of the mountain already in shadow. The view that unfolded before me was breathtaking. There is something truly unique about the feeling of solitude in the mountains, sharing such a moment with no one but the mountain itself.”
This painting was inspired by a place I return to every year in the French Alps to admire the sunsets over Mont Blanc.
